This is Sharon's recipe and is a winner. I add chocolate chips (I bet she does, too but they're not in the recipe)
2/3 c butter
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c pumpkin
4 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
pinch of salt
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla 1 c nuts if desired
(I added 1+ c chocolate chips)
Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add pumpkin.
Add the rest of the ingredients. I mixed them together then added them in batches. I added the chocolate chips at the very end after everything else was mixed in.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 350 for 10 minutes. That time worked perfect for me.
